Ingredients (1 glass)
- 120 ml Salman pineapple juice
- 60 ml coconut cream (or 90 ml coconut milk)
- 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice (optional)
- 1 cup crushed ice
- For garnish: a pineapple wedge and a cocktail cherry
How to make it
- Chill the pineapple juice and coconut cream well before you start.
- Put the juice, coconut cream, lime juice and ice into a blender.
- Blend for 20–30 seconds until smooth and frothy.
- Pour into a tall glass (a hurricane glass is traditional).
- Garnish with the pineapple wedge and cherry and serve straight away with a straw.
Tips and variations
- For a thicker drink, add a few frozen banana slices.
- Using coconut milk instead of cream gives a lighter result.
- For a party, blend a full 800 ml bottle with 400 ml coconut cream and plenty of ice; it makes about six glasses.
